MEET THE TRUSTEES

All Trustees and co-opted members of the charity are unpaid volunteers. They are all local people who have been touched by childhood cancer in different ways

Martin Hussey- Chair

Martin co-founded the charity in 1996. Martin led the paediatric Oncology service at Poole hospital until his retirement from clinical work at the hospital in December 2020. Martin retains close links with the team at Poole Hospital (now a part of University Hospitals Dorset) and, with the other trustees, continues to work towards improving the lives of children and their families affected by cancer.

Kevin Allen- Treasurer

Kevin joined as a Trustee in 2001 with a plan to help the charity for 1-2 years. He has been treasurer ever since! Kevin remains a vital part of the charity, as he has been over the past 10 years.

Caroline Field- Secretary

Caroline joined the charity in 2004 - initially to help out with membership and helping with writing letters of thanks.

She quickly established herself as another vital part of the charity and is now the charity secretary.

Natalia Czernik -Fundraising / events coordination

Natalia became a trustee at the AGM in October 2015 and has been a valuable asset to the charity with coordination of events and her enthusiasm and ideas for new future events.
