P.D.C.C.F. AGM

The AGM of the P.D.C.C.F. was held at the Royal British Legion again this year. The charity would like to thank the Broadstone Branch of the Royal British Legion for their continued hospitality and the use of their meeting room.

The existing trustees were elected to serve for another year as trustees. The AGM provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements during the year and to plan for the coming year.

The finances of the Charity are healthy thanks to generous donations and fundraising events held throughout the year and to the ongoing regular donations from our supporters.

It was felt that older patients / teenagers tend to be overlooked slightly when planning events and so this will be a focus for the coming year. Several suggestions were made but we would like to hear directly from some of our teenage patients regarding events / treats that they would like.

The charity are also planning for our annual events with trips to the pantomime and a meal at a local restaurant - further details to follow!

Finally, the charity is always looking for people who could donate some of their time to help with the running of the charity. As can be seen from this blog there is an urgent need for help in writing blogs!!
